Kids have a remarkable ability to keep us up at night. It’s crying babies, wondering if that teen will be home by the 11pm curfew, and a whole lot in between. Sometimes it’s replaying conversations, worrying about their future, or wondering if that thing you said at dinner will require therapy later. For some, it’s when will we have kids. For others, why do my grown children still act like kids? But for many of us, it’s the same reality: when it comes to children, sleep is fleeting. This week at BCC, we’ll explore some of the common parenting traps that quietly steal our rest. We’ll also look at how biblical wisdom points us toward another way—one that forms hearts rather than manages outcomes—and invites us to trust God enough to finally get a good night’s sleep.
