Anybody remember the famous refrain from V for Vendetta, “Remember, remember the 5th of November?” It stuck with me. Not because I really care to remember a date, but because it shows how remembering can be a spark—something active, something that shapes how people think and act. It isn’t nostalgia; it’s something more. But I’m realizing this idea of active remembering matters far beyond the movie. The moments that shape us deserve more than a quick glance in the rearview mirror—they invite us to return to them with intention, and they meet us again to shape who we’re becoming. This Sunday, we’re exploring what it looks like to make remembering something we practice, not just something we occasionally stumble upon. I hope you’ll join us as we close out our series, Threaded through the Silence.
