Sarah Polera

Pastor Sarah is currently the Executive Pastor (XP). She has been at BCC since December 2015.  She loves having the opportunity to work with our Senior Pastor and our Staff to not only advance the kingdom of God but to also help BCC and our family become all that God has for us to be. 

She has a BS in Education, a minor in Music from SUNY Fredonia, and a Masters of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary.   She has taught Pre-K, 3rd grade, 5th grade, and a quick year serving as a principal. She has spent 4 years as an adjunct professor teaching Spiritual formation, and leadership at Nyack College, all before becoming a Pastor. 

Pastor Sarah has a wonderful furry cat baby named Pippa.  She loves Christmas and all things Christmas,  and enjoys making pies and reading in her free time.  And if she can get away anywhere she is usually going to go to the mountains and the lake. She absolutely loves boxed Mac and Cheese (store brand)…Like really love it, and if it’s shells, it’s even better.

Pastor Sarah recently got married to her husband Frank Polera.
