We have different types of services - our Summer Schedule, Regular Sunday schedule, Communion Sunday, and 5th Sunday. I have shared information about each Service so you know what to expect.
September 15 - 22nd - Service will be at 10 a.m.
Nursery through 5th Grade will meet. Kids will follow the 9 a.m. schedule listed below.
9:00 a.m. and 11 a.m. services will resume in the Fall on September 29th.
9:00 Service
- Check-in at the Check-in Station
- All kids report to their classrooms. They settle in with their teacher and have a discussion time.
- Preschool/Elementary - The kids will go with their teachers into the Fellowship Hall, where they have their own worship time. After worship, they are dismissed back to class, where they work on their lesson activities.
- Parents pick the kids up after the Service has ended in the classroom.

Communion Sunday
- Communion Sunday is the 1st Sunday of the month.
- Communion is given at all services.
- Bedford Community Church's Communion Table is open to all believers, regardless of age. Children are welcome.
- If you want help explaining communion to your child or have questions about how Bedford Community Church gives communion, please see Melissa Cancro, Children's Discipleship Director. Contact her at melissa@bedfordcommunitychurch or stop by her office. Any of the Pastors are also willing to assist you. We have resources to help.
- Communion is usually done at the end of the Service.
- Parents who want their children to receive communion can pick them up from class in the Children's Discipleship wing.
5th Sunday - 2024 - June, September and December
- Four times a year, there are 5 Sundays in a month.
- It is our Family Service. Bedford Community Church believes that it is essential that children participate in Service and feel a part of God's family. The children need to see their parents and others participating in Service so that when they graduate from Children's Discipleship, being in Service is not a foreign experience.
- Nursery - Preschool - These classes still follow their regular schedule. If you would like your little one to experience the worship part of the Service, please feel free. You can drop them off in class afterward if you want to.
First-Time Visitors
We understand that trying something new can be daunting, especially for little ones, so we're here to support you every step of the way.
If your child feels shy or overwhelmed, don't worry—we're prepared to make their experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We aim to ensure that both the kids and parents have a joyous time at our church.
If you'd like your child to participate in our classes, fill out a visitor card at the check-in station. This helps us contact you if needed and lets us know of any allergies your child may have. Our classroom snack typically consists of goldfish crackers and water.
However, if your little one prefers to stay with you during the Service, that's fine too! We're a multigenerational church and cherish having our kids worship with us. Your child is welcome to join in the Service alongside you.
Whatever you and your child choose, we support and accommodate your needs. We look forward to welcoming you into our community at Bedford Community Church! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask our friendly staff or volunteers.
