Lisa Bruno - Director of Care

If you have received prayer, a follow-up phone call, the prayer bulletin, delivered meals, or know someone who has - you have seen and felt the effects of Lisa and the care corp.  The goal of the care department is to work with the Pastors, the Elders, and the Deacons to ensure that people feel cared for and seen.

Melissa Cancro - Director of Children's Discipleship

Children's Discipleship serves families with children ages birth through 5th grade.  Through regular Sunday discipleship classes, fun engaging outreach events, VBS, and Mini Camps, Melissa and her team strive to create spaces where our children can be safe and encounter God, all while resourcing families to participate in their own children's discipleship.

Growth Groups
DeAnna Pastore - Director of Growth Groups

Growth Groups is one of the important parts of growing your faith here at Bedford Community Church.  We long to see everyone connected to a group, studying the word of God, and sharing their lives at a deeper level.  Our groups run in three separate sessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring).  Many of our groups feel as though they have connected to one another and continue to meet off and on during the summer as well.

Danny Cheong- Director of Outreach and Engagement

If you are looking for ways to express your faith through service, and mission.  If you long to see the community around BCC know the goodness of God, and feel the delight of his love. Then Danny more than likely has the means for you to experience that and more. Danny is always looking to find new ways for our BCC Family to express their love, care, and compassion to the world around us.

Worship Arts
Jeremiah Wingerden - Director of Worship Arts

From the songs we sing and the words we see on the screen, to the volume and the musicians, Jeremiah prayerfully considers and plans all of it.  His week is filled with planning, rehearsing, meeting with and practicing with team members, and preparing his heart and our space for our Sunday Services.

Treasurer's Report
Membership Report

During the past year we have seen our church family steadily grow. Early on in the year we were still struggling with COVID, but by the Summer it was clear that we were trending toward a new return to normal.

On average, this year we welcomed 189 people to worship with us each week.  As usual, Easter, which saw 431 people spread over 4 services, and Christmas Eve, which saw 279 people between the two services, were exceptionally high weeks of attendance.  Those two services helped us balance the 2.5 services we had to cancel last winter due to weather. Our children’s discipleship program saw roughly 28 students each week, and our emerging generations program saw an average of 10 students. We are excited to see these numbers trending upward, as we continue to see new families and students joining us for worship.

We have gained a few new members and lost a few members during the 2022 year, as of the writing of this report, our membership total stands at 137.  If you have been attending BCC for a while and would like to know more about Membership or Baptism please reach out to Pastor Josh or Pastor Sarah. We will be offering one more chance to become a member prior to the annual meeting.

Membership List
2023 Ballot
