The New Testament book of Revelation can be intimidating but it is also intriguing. It stands at the end of the Bible, God’s final written word of Scripture, which in itself makes this book very significant. Although it contains pictures that can be hard to decipher, the title of the book means “disclosure/unveiling”! Revelation is first and foremost about Jesus and His victory. Its thrust is not to arouse speculation about the future but to encourage those facing opposition and experiencing persecution.
